Johan Vos got a Msc in Mining and Geophysical Engineering at the University
of Leuven, Belgium, in 1995. In 2000, he got a PhD in Physics at the
Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands.
He is a co-founder of Sesuad'ra (www.sesuadra.org), an organization that
promotes creativity and connectivity using the Internet. Since 1996 he
has been a Linux and Java consultant for different companies.
Johan joined Blackdown in order to port JDK 1.x to Linux/SPARC. The first
port of JDK 1.1.1 for Linux/SPARC was released in June 1997.
His professional activities currently mainly involve Acunia, a Belgium based
company developing a Java based Open Telematics Framework.
