Introduction to pgpool-II version 3

Pgpool-II is a server program sitting between clients and PostgreSQL to add functionalities including connection pooling, load balancing, automated fail over and replication.

In this talk we present the major features of the latest version of pgpool-II, especially the collaborating mode with PostgreSQL 9's built-in replication. A short demonstration will be performed.
