Get ready for the PostgreSQL Extension Network

The purpose of PGXN is to provide a central repository and distribution system for open-source PostgreSQL extension libraries. In its first iteration it will consist of four basic parts: an upload server, an rsync-able directory of extension distributions and metadata, a website for searching through extension releases and a command-line client for downloading, testing, and installing them.

This talk will explain the current status of the project, how to install an extension and how to distribute your own stuff.
