Pig is a map/reduce query, or data flow language for use with Hadoop. In this talk I want to give a introduction to Pig, by example. What it's for and how it's used, I will focus on practice, more than theory, and will share our experiences with Hadoop and Pig at Netlog.
The presentation is focused at people who are new to Hadoop & Pig.
