Mono's new garbage collector
Mono's new garbage collector
I will give a short overview of what a garbage collector does, why the Boehm collector is not good enough for Mono, what SGen, our new garbage collector does better, provide a few relevant details about the internals and what this means for getting the best performance out of Mono.
Also, if the audience demands it, I will juggle 5 balls.
