Panayiotis Talianos
A geek practically from age 0
, naturally drawn to electronics and computers ever since. When not swimming or holding a soldering iron, he is working as a software engineer in the telecomms industry.
A bit more about me, in first person:
- Mesmerised by the apparent magic at play when running a game console emulator, I decided to have a go at writing a CHIP-8 interpreter (the "hello world" of emulator development). I loved every minute of it.
- I've chosen software development (mainly in C++) to be my focus after coming from a broader engineering background. Perhaps that's why I particularly enjoy being involved with the hardware/software interface.
- Besides programming I fiddle around with electronics, build carnival costumes, swim and make up terrible pans.
