Scott Godin
Scott Godin has been working in the telecommunications industry since 1995, and has been exposed to a wide range of telecommunications technologies, protocols and products. Scott started off working for ComputerTalk, a hosted Contact Center platform provider, for 14 years, designing, architecting and implementing their ice product. ice is a complex all-in-one solution that brings together many technologies and Unified Communications concepts, including: IM, Presence, Email, Audio/Video calling, IVR, Speech Recognition, text-to-speech, and skills based routing. During his time at ComputerTalk Scott lead the product development team, and moved on to be the Director of Research and Development. Scott has been a major contributor to the open source resiprocate project, since 2004, and has contributed many new projects and features over the years.
In 2006 Scott founded SIP Spectrum, Inc. to provide his consulting services and experience in the area of VoIP and SIP based projects. Scott works closely with many members of IETF, helping to provide initial implementations of many IETF initiatives.
