Ricardo Wurmus
Since 2014 Ricardo passes the time thinking about software reproducibility and occasionally writing code in the hopes of improving the state of reproducible science in the field of bioinformatics. As the resident free software expert at the Max-Delbrueck-Center Berlin, Ricardo assists scientists in running their workflows reproducibly on workstations, HPC clusters, and serializing them for publications. After co-maintaining the reproducible software management and deployment system GNU Guix for a few years, Ricardo is now working towards extending the ways in which Guix can be even more useful for scientists, experts, and casual computer users alike.
