Marco Mancini
With a PhD in Computer Science and System Engineering from the University of Calabria (Italy), Marco’s expertise includes cloud and edge computing, container orchestration, IoT, advanced data analytics and HPC. He has worked as a freelance ICT consultant for several government agencies and telecommunication companies. He now combines his work as Senior Scientist at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) with his role as Cloud Technical Evangelist at OpenNebula. His speaking experience includes recent online events such as “Computing at the Edge with Kubernetes” and several OpenNebula Webinars on third-party technologies like Rancher, Equinix Metal and Agones. Marco also contributes with his technical skills and knowledge on Kubernetes and containers to the GAIA-X project.
