Jan-Marek Glogowski
Starting "IT" with C64 gaming, Jan-Marek Glogowski later (somehow) managed to acquire a "Diplom-Informatiker (FH)" degree of the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, starting just before the Bologna process happened, in addition to the craziness of the dotcom and y2k times. After a detour to Ireland and already a Linux user and admin since a few years, he joined Munich's LiMux project as a "Linux developer" for the LiMux client OS, which would - in the end - also include the distribution and management server infrastructure. With the end of 2013, he switched his main focus from Linux "distro + kernel" to LibreOffice "app" development, then quitting the City of Munich employment, some time after the Windows rollback was announced. He is currently working as an IT freelancer.
