Dr. Carsten Kutzner is working at the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Biophysical Chemistry in the Department of Helmut Grubm├╝ller. Carsten studied Physics at the University of G├Âttingen, Germany. In his PhD thesis he focused on numerical simulations of Earth's magnetic field with the help of high performance and parallel computing. After a stay at the MPI for Solar System Research he moved from planetary phycics to atomistic molecular dynamics simulation. Carsten is interested in cost-efficient high performance and high throughput computing and in method development for biomolecular simulation codes such as GROMACS.
