Alexander Malyshev
Alexander is the author of tutorials and a certified trainer on Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT). OCCT is an open-source software development kit intended for the development of applications dealing with 3D CAD data. It includes a set of C++ class libraries providing services for 3D surface and solid modeling, visualization, data exchange, and rapid application development.
For the past 7 years, Alexander has been specialized in geometric modeling and its applications. He is a contributor to OCCT, an expert in the field of geometric algorithms. Alexander took part in the development of algorithms for solving problems of global optimization, approximation, and preparation of models for finite element analysis (FEA). He is one of the developers of CAD Processor desktop application, author of a series of scientific publications in the field of geometric modeling.
