Alexander Hück

Alexander Hück studied Computational Engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt with a focus on computer science. He acquired his bachelor degree at the Simulation, Systems Optimization and Robotics Group in 2010. After a two semester stay at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, he received his master’s degree in 2013 at the Scientific Computing Group in Darmstadt. Subsequently, in 2014, he started his work there as a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Bischof. In 2020, he was awarded with a doctoral degree in natural sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) from Technische Universität Darmstadt. His research interests are focused on algoritmic differentiation, source analysis and source transformations facilitated by compiler frameworks with a focus on the C++ programming language.
