In this presentation, we will give an overview of the state of libre mechanical software. What are some of the programs out there? What can be done with them? Of course, this task cannot possibly include every program out there, there are too many! However, with the most common tools we can get a good idea about the environment that is currently available to users. We will also discuss how are we currently doing and what the future may bring us.
