Renzo Davoli is a developer of new ideas expressed as (libre) code. This is what he means by "research". He founded and leads the VirtualSquare Lab. He is the main designer and developer of projects like VDE, LWIPv6, View-OS, PureLibC... He is an associate professor of computer science at the University of Bologna where he teaches operating systems and virtual system design.
