FOSDEM 2005 is over
FOSDEM 2005 is now over. It was a big success, with many developers and talks, and a broad audience estimated to 3.000 - 3.500 people. We would like to thank all people involved in this big success, all those of you who have helped, who have donated, who have been present at the event. If you want to help us to improve it, feel free to send your feedback.

Beside the official talks ...
Starting saturday noon, developers's room will offer to various projects an opportunity for their developers to meet and brainstorm on their future. A wide range a projects have requested one, and will provide lots of presentation. More information about this can be found in the developers' room section.
This year, visitors will have the opportunity to pass LPI exams at FOSDEM. LPI will conduct 101 and 201 exams on saturday and sunday. To support FOSDEM, LPI has decided to discount the price for delegates from the normal 110 Euros to 35 Euros per exam. If you plan to come to these exams, please mail us so we can estimate number of participant and also register on LPI site for an LPI-ID, which is needed to participate to the exams.
There will also be lightning talks and a key signing party during the week-end.
Last thing : don't forget to participate to our contest and support us so we can continue to provide a good FOSDEM.

Buffet sponsoring
This year, we welcome PePLink as a FOSDEM sponsor. They have decided to support us in the cost of the saturday evening buffet. But they went one step further: each donator of 100 euros or more to the FOSDEM organisation may get a 50% reduction on their MANGA Plus.
You'll be able to discover the MANGA Plus product on the PePLink stand, where PePLink agreed to present only Open Source and Free Software.

On saturday evening, we will again organise a FOSDEM buffet. Although the number of attendants is limited, the cost of such a buffet is rising fast and it wouldn't have been possible without the financial support of PePLink and X-Tend who we take the opportunity to thank.
All donators of 50 euros or more are elligible to take part to the buffet. As the number of attendants is limited to 190, we'll apply the FAFS principle: first arrived first served.
If you make your donation by wire transfer and want to take part to the buffet, don't forget to send a mail to buffet-confirm@fosdem.org with subject BuffetReservation.
