Application development using Mozilla as a platform Alex Fritze This talk is going to be about two new Mozilla extensions that I've been developing for use in the Mozilla-based Crocodile Maths interactive geometry software: - jssh: a Mozilla tcp/ip javascript shell server (& corresponding emacs mode) for connecting to a live Mozilla process - xtl: a framework for plugging new XML tags into Gecko using C++ or JS. Layout debugging and triaging Bernd Mielke The mozilla layout component is under permament pressure from bugs that lack testcases and a clear indication where the problem is. This talk will show how using the mozilla components these bugs can be modified so that they become clear and fixable. The second part of the talk will describe debug features that help finding the cause of these bugs. [ back to schedule ]
