In her first life, Maya worked in intercultural relations between Europe and the Americas, and got a PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities. During this time, advanced research on digital testimonies led her to cross quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis. She delved further into mixed methods research with a Masters degree in Data Science applied to Social Sciences.

Maya is now working at Inno³, a French research and consulting firm, that specializes in opening science through open source, open data, and the commons.
