Ryan Lee Sipes
Ryan is a longtime open source enthusiast, whose day job is the Community and Business Development Manager for the Thunderbird Email client. He also serves on the Thunderbird Council, the governing body for the project.
Ryan Lee Sipes has been an enthusiastic member of the open source world for quite some time. This developed beyond a hobby with Ryan co-founding Mycroft, A.I. (think open source Amazon Echo), and then going on to work for System76, one of the premier Linux computer manufacturers. Now Ryan spends most of his time working on Mozilla's Thunderbird Email client, where he serves as Community and Business Development Manager. He also serves on the Thunderbird Council, the project's governing body, as the Treasurer.
