Rob Hagemans
Rob did a PhD in Theoretical Physics in Amsterdam before joining the financial sector as a researcher and quantitative analyst. He got into coding from a tender age, debuting with Commodore Basic and GW-BASIC, passing through Pascal and C, before moving on to C++ and Python and lately a bit of JavaScript. He still codes for pleasure, focussing mostly on obsessive retro projects such as the PC-BASIC and BASICODE emulators and bitmap fonts. He lives in London with his partner and a long-haired white cat.
