Ludovic Courtès

Ludovic is co-maintainer and one of the core developers of GNU Guix, a transactional software and system deployment tool that emphasizes reproducibility. He's been working on reproducible software deployment (with Nix and then Guix) for more than ten years now. Recently, he's been involved at Inria with Guix-HPC, which brings Guix to high-performance computing (HPC) and reproducible science. His interests are functional programming, in particular with GNU Guile, a Scheme implementation he co-maintains, and in operating systems. Specifically, his goal is see how languages like Scheme can help empower software users who value freedom.
