Alex has been testing open source software for the past 10+ years and is responsible for finding more than 1600 bugs! He was the installation test lead for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 during the entire lifecycle of the product! In the last few years Alex has been experimenting with different testing tools and techniques and working more closely with upstream.

He likes everything open source and is heavily involved in many communities in Bulgaria. He is the author and contributor to several open source projects. A few more popular are Cosmic Ray, pylint, django-chartit and django-s3-cache. Last year Alex hosted the first QA and Automation training course for students at a local IT academy.
