The FOSDEM Networking team has managed the network for FOSDEM since its early days. Through our time operating this network, we have learned a few things about keeping networking up for a large group of highly-connected hackers, without an SDN controller managing the network.

We discuss how you can get traffic and monitoring information out of traditional routers and how to program them using NETCONF/YANG.
