Xavier Besseron
Xavier Besseron is a Research Associate at the University of Luxembourg in the LuXDEM research team.
Xavier Besseron is currently working on the parallelization of the eXtended Discrete Element Method (XDEM) software. His interests also focus on Fault Tolerance and Dynamic Reconfiguration of HPC middleware for distributed execution on Cloud and HPC platforms.
He obtained his PhD from the University of Grenoble, working on Fault Tolerance and Dynamic Reconfiguration for large Scale distributed applications, in the Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble (LIG). He also worked a postdoc on Fault Tolerance aspects of MVAPICH2 as part of the Nowlab team at the Ohio State University.
