Vangelis Koukis
Vangelis Koukis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 2002, and his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from NTUA in 2010. In his research he worked on block-level shared storage, hacking a kernelspace block driver over the Myrinet high-performance interconnect. Currently, he is working with GRNET as the Technical Lead of the ~okeanos project, delivering a full-fledged public cloud for the Greek research and academic community. He is one of the core Synnefo developers, responsible for coordinating the operation of the various groups within Synnefo.
