Lucas Nussbaum

Lucas Nussbaum is a Debian Developer, focusing on Ruby packages and Quality Assurance -- he is known inside the project for his work on rebuilding all packages on a regular to identify packages that fail to build. Since April 2013, he serves as the Debian Project Leader.

In his day job, he is an assistant professor at Université de Lorraine, where he gets to teach about Free Software in a system administration curriculum. His research focuses on experimentation in the context of distributed systems (HPC, Cloud, P2P, Grid), and he is one of the main architects of the Grid'5000 testbed, a large-scale, reconfigurable testbed for research on distributed systems.
