Qt Creator for desktop developers

Why you should not waste time coding in a text editor

Qt Creator is a full-featured IDE that can help you with your C++ (and C where that does not conflict with C++) coding -- with and without Qt!

In this presentation I want to encourage all the a-texteditor-is-all-I-need developers out there to give integrated development environments a try.

Using an integrated development environment (IDE) raises your productivity and can make your live as a programmer more enjoyable. This fact is widely known in the proprietary software world, but in the free and open source software world there still is a huge following for programming in a text editor.

This presentation shows why you should not be content with primitive tools and uses Qt Creator as an example to demonstrate what an IDE can do for you.
