Willem has been programming since age 10, and administers linux webservers since 2001, when he started coaching teams in eXtreme Programming. He believes developers should put their own software into production, in close collaboration with systems adminstrators, as currently advocated by the DevOps movement. Willem works as a developer, coach and consultant and dabbles in systems administration.
