Saverio Proto is a PhD student in telecommunications engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has significant implementation and deployment expertise in distributed networks. He is a active member of Ninux.org, the Italian wireless community network. He has been involved in the developing of extensions to the OLSRd protocol and in WNMAP, a web based map for wireless community networks.
