Carl-Daniel Hailfinger
Carl-Daniel Hailfinger is one of the lead developers of flashrom. He has been active in Linux kernel development, and reverse engineered the binary only nForce network driver which served as basis for the forcedeth Linux driver.
Fed up with downloading hundreds of megabytes of update packages for OpenOffice and the Linux kernel over a slow modem line, he invented RPMdeltas, which evolved into the DeltaRPMs we enjoy today. During his stint as network security consultant he created a cross-platform trojan network mapping tool. Since 2006, he has been active in the coreboot and flashrom projects and contributed to the OLPC XO firmware.
