His involvement with JNode started in early 2004 and he has been overseeing the development of the project since mid 2006. He started using Java while still a student, in 1997 and has been working with it ever since. He is a free lance software engineer, based in Transylvania, working on various enterprise Java projects and lately also teaching Java programming at a local college.

He earned MS. degree in computer engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania.
