Kristian was born in Denmark in 1975 and followed open source from the side line while doing his masters in computer science.

In 2004 he moved to the US to work for Red Hat, where he is currently employed, primarily working on the X server.

Interests include skiing and mountain biking, though he can't seem to find much time to do either.
