She holds her Ph.D. in Economics of Innovation from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. Her research interests cover the Economics of Innovation and Applied Industrial Organisation, focusing on the empirical analysis of territorial and sectoral innovation processes.

Her studies in Open Source Software deal mainly with firms’ involvement in the movement (business models, incentives, project participation, innovation processes) and have been published in several international journals.
