Sebastian is Software Defined Vehicle specialist and OSS Evangelist. Except connecting vehicles also connecting people and companies in cross industry standardization bodies and software foundations such as COVESA, W3C and the Eclipse foundation.

In his early life, Sebastian was researching networking technologies and IoT systems, which earned him a PhD degree from TU Braunschweig. On occasions he has been known to connect potatoes to the Internet. When he joined Bosch he he was working hard to achieve the same with cars. Recently he joined ETAS and works on making "Software Defined vehicles" a reality, by enabling modern IT tech stacks to be used in a safe and secure manner within vehicles.
