John Garbutt
John Garbutt (Principal Engineer) works on the convergence of OpenStack and HPC with StackHPC. John has been involved with OpenStack since December 2010 and is currently a Nova core reviewer. He was the PTL of the OpenStack Nova project for its Libery and Mitaka releases. Between April 2016 and April 2018 he served as a member of the OpenStack Technical committee. Before StackHPC he worked on OpenStack at Rackspace public cloud and Citrix. John now leads a variety of projects exploring convergence of OpenStack and HPC, including work relating to Cambridge, SKA and STFC’s IRIS e-Infrastructure project.
