Peter Jonas
As Project Manager for OpenScore, Peter ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017 to launch the new crowdsourced sheet music transcription platform in partnership with MuseScore and IMSLP. Peter also develops MuseScore's accessibility features in partnership with RNIB, including improving screen reader support for users who are blind or partially sighted. Peter is a member of the UK Association for Accessible Formats - Music Subject Area (UKAAF MSA).
He has been contributing to open source projects since 2013, including the popular sheet music editor MuseScore and the AppImage universal Linux packaging format. He is currently Project Manager for OpenScore, a new initiative to digitise classical music. Peter graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Master's degrees in Physics (2015) and Computer Science (2016).
