Degrees in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Ph.D. in Information Theory. 5 years working on commercial research in chip development, then 30 years at IBM understanding and transporting new technologies to our customers. I teach at the Institute for Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück, and occasionally teach advanced statistics at the LMU in Munich. I play bass guitar and sometimes produce electronic music. Radio Ham callsign M0MMS.
