María is a Software Engineer working for Red Hat where she develops middleware and Integration Platforms as a Service (IPaaS). Free and Open Source advocator and enthusiast, she is a strong Woman in Tech activist. She has been the President of OSGeo in 2017-2019.
Contributor to many open source projects, María has been a core developer of GeoNetwork for the last seven years. Recently, she has become a contributor of Syndesis and Apache Camel.
