Karl Heinz Marbaise is a german freelancer working primarily in Java development and DevOps areas. Apache Maven PMC Member and Apache Software Foundation Member and contributing to Open Source Software for more than 25 years. Speaker on several conferences like Apache Con, Bed Con, All Day DevOps 2018, Experten Werkstatt(Hamburg), Community activities on JavaLand, Devoxx Belgium, Berlin Expert Days, Java User Groups
I started playing with computers about 35 years ago with BASIC and afterwards with Assembly language in 6502 and continued over the years with several other languages like BASIC, Delphi, PHP, Ruby and finally Java and started learning Go a short time ago. I'm a long time contributor to open source software which I began around 1995 (I can not give the starting point exactly). Also I'm very interested in version control tools like RCS, CVS, Subversion and Git etc.
