Aninda Manocha is a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at Princeton University advised by Professor Margaret Martonosi. Her broad area of research is Computer Architecture and her interests lie in designing high-performant and energy-efficient heterogeneous architectures for applications with computations ranging from dense to sparse. She is a contributor to the DECADES project, a full-stack, heterogeneous system design that aims to improve the performance, power, and programmability of several emerging workflows in the broad areas of Machine Learning and Graph Analytics. Currently, she is developing hardware-software co-design approaches to address memory latency and bandwidth bottlenecks of irregular workloads in the domain of graph and other sparse applications. Previously, she worked with Professor Benjamin C. Lee at Duke University, where she received her bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as Computer Science. Her research involved distributed systems, crowd computing and mobile architectures, and efficient hardware accelerator design with statistical learning for high-level synthesis parameter tuning.
