Damien François

Damien François is a HPC systems engineer at Université catholique de Louvain. He is also involved in the Consortium des Equipements de Calcul Intensif in federation Walloine-Bruxelles and in the Walloon Tier-1 infrastructure. His focus is on automation (Infrastructure as Code, ChatOps) and on user self-service (documentation, training, wizards, and HPCaaS). He holds that position since 2010. Before that, he was doing research in the field of machine learning and then later on on the economic value of data science. His interests also lie in communication and entrepreneurship. He holds the Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, M.Sc. in Computer Engineering and a Master in Management from the Université catholique de Louvain.
