I am the creator of "Gnucap".

Ph.D. University of Rochester, "Implicit Mixed-Mode Simulation" 1991. M.S. University of Bridgeport, B.S. Clarkson University 1972.

I have done product/circuit design for several companies including Harman-Kardon, Automated Processes Inc (pro audio), CBS, Audio Dynamics. I have done software development (EDA, simulation, analysis, synthesis) for Bell Labs and Pads Software (Hyperlynx). I have been a college professor, have taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Electrical Engineering (analog and communications), Computer Science, and Software Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, Idaho State University, and Kettering University.
