Stephen M. Webb is a Ubuntu developer who first put Unity 8 on the desktop and is now busy putting the desktop on Unity 8.

First introduced to Free and Open Source software in the heady days of the 1980s, Stephen jumped on the Linux bandwagon with Slackware in 1995. Employed by Xandros to work on the first user-friendly Linux distribution, he made the move to Canonical to work on Ubuntu where he develops desktop middleware such as the Mir display server and the Libertine legacy application sandbox.
