Pavel Šimerda has been active in the Czech Linux community for years. As a freelancer, he provided training sessions and services in IP networking, system administration and software development based almost exclusively on open source software. He speaks at local and international open source conferences. A talk at DevConf Brno 2012 resulted in joining Red Hat to work on networking related open source software.
