Michael is a Christian and enthusiastic believer in Free software. He very much enjoys working for Collabora where he leads the LibreOffice team supporting customers and consulting on development projects with a very talented team. He serves as a member of the board of The Document Foundation, and the LibreOffice Engineering Steering Committee. Prior to this he worked for Novell/SUSE on various pieces of Free Software infrastructure across the Linux desktop stack. Before that he worked on both hardware and software for real-time video editing at Quantel.
