Maureen O’Sullivan

Maureen O'Sullivan BA BCL LLM PGCHE is a lecturer in law at National University of Ireland, Galway. She did a research LLM at the University of Warwick in 2002 entitled “The Linux Operating System: A Socio-Legal Study” and has published widely in English and Spanish on this and related themes. She has also acted in an advisory capacity to the Brazilian and Colombian governments on their free software licensing policies and has participated in a number of funded European projects on this theme. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh and the subject matter of her PhD is patenting and biotechnology.
