Denis Defreyne

Denis is a software engineer in heart and soul. His favourite spare-time weapon is Ruby, and during daylight hours, he writes Smalltalk code. He knows and enjoys coding in a wide variety of languages, both static and dynamic (except perhaps PHP and JavaScript).

Since early 2007, Denis has been working on nanoc, a static website generator, used by quite a few web sites, including the FOSDEM 2013 one. Quite a lot of his spare time goes to development of nanoc, the web site, support, and more.

When Denis is relaxing, he is often found indulging in his electronic music obsession.
