Curtis Poe

Curtis "Ovid" Poe started programming back in the 1980s with a mixture of BASIC, C, and 6809 Assembler. Today he is a well-known Perl expert, specializing in Perl since 1999. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Perl Foundation and wrote the test harness that is included with the Perl programming language. He published the book "Beginning Perl" with Wrox Press, and is one of the authors of "Perl Hacks", with chromatic and Damien Conway.
