For the last 7 years Steven Goodwin (London, England) has been involved in both the community and development environment for Linux, Free Software and Open Source. His first articles for Linux Magazine appeared in 2001 and began a long partnership where he brought the C programming language to the newstand, demonstrated development best practice, and uncovered command line power tools. Steven also bridged the gap between the Open Source and game developer communities with his second book, "The Game Developers Open Source Handbook". He is also a blogger and author for Free Software Magazine and writes the yearly "FOSDEM diary".
