David Bourgeois
David Bourgeois is one of the main developers of the Tux Droid open source robot and active member of the AVR community and some open hardware projects.
David is an embedded designer, working for the Belgian company Kysoh where he develops the Tux Droid Open Source robot. He's involved in both hardware and software worlds, mainly programming microcontrollers but also designing circuits, protocols and applications. To make it complete, he's also managing the production and tests setups.
He has been highly influenced by the Open Source culture, starting with Linux and online communities. Emerging open source hardware projects are now his main focus of interest.
David received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons in 1997. Based in Belgium, he contributed to various projects involving microelectronics, bioelectronics, gadgets and robots.
